The High Park Rogue Runners are a volunteer-led run club based in Toronto's High Park. Founded in 2015, our mission is simple: make performance-based training accessible for all runners.

You can also find us on Strava and Instagram—but for the latest club news and updates, subscribe to our monthly newsletter.

Our runs and training are offered free of cost, and we operate on a sweat-exchange basis. If you're joining our runs, we just ask that you help us give back and build community by taking part in the fundraising and volunteer activities we organize throughout the year.

Weekly runs

Our seasons typically begin in January and June, and build up to the major, local half marathon or marathon races.

Workouts (Wednesday and Friday @ 6:30 PM)

Long Runs (Sunday @ 8:30 AM)

Where to find us

Community initiatives

In lieu of coaching fees, we ask that members help us give back and build community. To fulfill this goal, we organize fundraising and volunteerism activities for the club throughout the year.

Members of the Rogue Runners believe that Black, Indigenous, gay, and trans lives matter. We focus our volunteer work and charitable giving on organizations that help Black, Indigenous, and LGBTQ2S communities, as well as organizations that benefit the lives of women, children, and people of color.

Some of the organizations we've supported include The 519, Team Unbreakable, Soles for Souls, Sistering, Parkdale Community Food Bank, Native Women’s Resource Centre of Toronto, Food For Now, Daily Bread Food Bank, Canada-Ukraine Foundation, Building Roots Toronto, and Black Women in Motion.

Code of conduct

We believe that running is for everyone. We have a zero-tolerance policy against racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, ableism, or any other form of discrimination or harassment. Our runners' physical, emotional, and intellectual safety will always be our top priority.

If any member of the group ever makes you feel uncomfortable or unsafe—or you witness inappropriate behaviour toward another member of the group—let us know as soon as possible. You can also file an anonymous report using this form.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to register ahead of time? Can I drop in?
No pre-registration is required for our runs. We welcome all drop-ins!

Do you have bag check?
We don’t. We ask that everyone comes ready to run.

I've new to running. Can I run with you?
While we would love to be able to accomodate runners of all skill levels, you should be able to run at least 6km without stopping before joining us for group runs.

I'm not very fast. Will I have someone to run with?
We welcome all paces! Our Sunday easy run pace groups range from around 5:00/km to 7:00/km, and we have volunteer pace group leaders to help ensure everyone has company on their run.

I run with another group. Can I drop in for a run with you?
Absolutely! The more the merrier. We love the run community and welcome all runners, regardless of whether you run with other groups or clubs.

Do you run in the rain or snow?
We sure do. We ask you to gauge your own comfort and safety running in different weather conditions and to make the call that’s right for you. Generally, we like to practice running in all conditions. You never know what race day will bring!

Do you ever cancel runs?
In very rare instances, we may cancel a run. If the local conditions are too dangerous to run outside safely, we will post a cancellation announcement to Strava and Instagram. If you feel conditions are unsafe, we always encourage you to err on the side of caution.
